ALL LINKS |

The original objective here was to list all the links to external sites featured on this site again here, indexed in one central place, together with other relevant sites. Like a lot of creators of Websites, I've realised this is a daunting task, and so I'm only doing it with some. I also wish to build up short explanations on the more important of these. The rest of the sites linked on here will be, for example, other artists, creative people that I know and whose work that I like and galleries and other arts resources. This of course will evolve as time goes by, so if you have any good suggestions send them through to me, with a brief explanation .Naturally, I would appreciate a reciprocal arrangement of linking 'colourmount' to your own site. With the external sites listed, I have-where possible/relevant - quoted the hosts from their own explanations of what their site is about, as well as sometimes adding my own words and my connection with them. |

| On the right are some other websites that feature my work, although at present these generally duplicate what is shown on here but in a different context , | ASC studios Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames Saatchi Online School of Everything |

| London Arts Cafe | "The
London Arts Cafe is a forum for viewing, expressing and discovering all
forms of contemporary urban art. Its aim is to highlight urban artistic
developments in the capital, in the United Kingdom and all over the world. Its mission is to encourage a reflection on cities through urban art." . Mirielle Galinou has run this organisation since 1996, I was a member for a few years, and may be again at some point in the future. The LAC puts on great events and trips to places, often to where you wouldn't be allowed to go to otherwise. In fact, the last event of theirs I attended (to the London Eye in September 2000), I met my partner Diana. Now how romantic is that? |

| "This is a catalogue of useful WEB sites for Fine Art students (also artists and art lecturers) who are using the Internet for the first time. It is an ongoing project which will be updated as I receive new information and ideas, and which can be used by other institutions through a hyperlink". Like myself Ramos (or to give him his full name DR Guillem Ramos-Poqui ) is a lecturer at Kensington & Chelsea College. Although this is quite an old site, buried deep within the KCC website, it still serves as an excellent resource for galleries and organisations around the world. | |||||||||
| HNC Fine Art students at Richmond Adult & community College | "This site has been put together by the final year students as a catalogue to accompany their show", Although we only have the 2002 version here, this is a group of students who I work with on their Contextual Studies assignments at RACC | ||||||||
| Mafuji Gallery | "Mafuji Gallery is now just artist studios. Harry and Peter thank all those who have exhibited in Mafuji Gallery, and those who visited. What an exciting five years we had there! Read about it in the Archive". Was it really five years?, I think it was more like three, perhaps we were all having such a good time we didn't notice. Harry Mafuji & Peter Head have left us with this archive, which is a good look back at one of the great 'East end' galleries of recent times and one that I exhibited in a couple of times, You can link onto their other venture (also now in new hands) the Century Gallery. As I/we raise a glass to their imminent new life up in Edinburgh, I'm sure there will be websites documenting new activities finding their way to this page shortly. | ||||||||
| i Jamming (Tony Fletcher) | "iJAMMING! is a music and lifestyle web site hosted by author, journalist and dee jay Tony Fletcher". Although this is not a fine art site, it's by a talented artist of a different type. Tony is an old friend from years back. Originally in London in the late 1980's just before he moved to New York, and then in the early 1990's when I lived in New Jersey. If your into obtaining an up to date, informative and alternative view on music, clubbing, politics and other topics, then this site is a must. | ||||||||
| Jim is an 'eclectic' artist that I have got to know over the last few years. With a distinguished career as a sculptor and educator behind him, Jim's practice in recent times has been on the cusp of fine art, Illustration and literature. Most of this has manifested itself her with the ongoing adventures of 'Bobby Banjaw' and a dark and sardonic look at urban living in the 'naughties'. I'm not sure yet, how much of Bobby is Jim's alter-ego, but I understand Bobby's story involves sculptures that he has made. So as Jim has returned to the studio for the first time in a while. This should be interesting | |||||||||
| Chris Klein | Chris says "I try to say as little as possible about my work so that it may be viewed in an unprejudiced, receptive state of mind". He then, paradoxically, proceeds to tell us loads about his work, but then Chris (like me) can actually 'talk for England' (he hates football so he probably won't even appreciate that - sorry Chris!). His work's good though, painting and digital stuff that uses" the relationships between numbers, colours and form as part of a diversionary set of rules running parallel and synchronously to the works' progress". which is a bit like some of my work, in fact that's how we know each other as I selected Chris for Colour by Numbers 1 in 2003. We plan to do more CBN shows but at the rate we're going we'll probably be so old and grey that it will be 'Colour in wheelchairs' by the time we get round to it. | ||||||||
| The big two, on either side of the pond, when it comes to Art museums, it would be a thankless task to put together a list of museums (and I wouldn't even try) but these two are at the top of the tree, as well as being the two I know the best. | |||||||||
